Wedding: The Decor

Planning a wedding is pretty overwhelming so when it came to the decor I wanted to keep things clean, simple, and classic. The location, where all the family gatherings take place, has a lot to offer in terms of aesthetics so we didn't have to do much to enhance this beautiful property. To keep costs low we used a lot of items we already had and even catered the event ourselves. Although it was a lot of hard work, it was a real community effort. Family members, friends, and neighbours all lent a helping hand and I will always remember how each and every one of them contributed to one of the best days of my life.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the photos below. xo

  2. SO AMAZING!!!! It feels good to DIY some stuff for your wedding, doesn't it? I was crazy and wanted to make my own wedding cake- but my mom talked me out of it and I'm so glad she did! We made all our table decor, invites and favors. Having all my friends and family helping is something I'll never forget either.
