First of all, let me just say a huge thank you for your sweet messages and comments regarding my last post. There is a lot of love going around and it feels amazing!

Tomorrow is the first day back at work after a very eventful Christmas vacation. We've been spending the second half of the holidays at Juniper Hill - one of my favourite places.  That means trading in our city lifestyle for country living. That also means going for long walks, drinking coffee or wine by the fireplace, and having a huge kitchen to cook in. And you can't live in the country without dressing a lot more casual. Especially in the winter where comfort and cozy are key. With the snow and the below zero temps proper footwear and layers are a must. I'm talking a two pairs of leggings kind of must. Have I mentioned that I think I'm supposed to be living in California?? Oh well, only a few more months to go. At least this year there is some pretty snow to look at :)

  1. That sounds like a pretty awesome lifestyle, for a little while! Love this classic plaid and knits and furry Sorels look!
